The Samba Schools are gearing up for the madness that will be Carnival 2005. Scantily clad women are dancing the samba and partying their asses off every weekend to the sounds of an army of drums. They're also warming up by partying in the streets of Copacabana.
There are many events happening through out the city from 24 hour Samba-drome parades to partying right in the streets of Rio where you'll be invited to jump into a parade and dance your ass off. You can always party naked at Help disco's 'Clothing Optional' night where all the women wear their very best smile and not much more. There is just so much to do day & night during Carnival that sleep is probably last on the list so be sure to get to Rio early.
